The Ishtar Cultura Center, established in 1997, stands as a vital pillar for the Assyrian Chaldean Syriac community in Michigan. Our member-supported organization is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Sureth language and cultural heritage of a resilient people who were displaced to the United States. By focusing on arts, history, and cultural programs, we build meaningful connections to our ancestral homeland of Beth Nahrain. These efforts not only strengthen our ties to our heritage but also ensure the survival and continuity of our identity in the Middle East.
